Just watched this movie, must say it was beyond my expectations, great actor, great story, very well written. Just one of those must-see movies! No idea how 100 minutes passed away.!!!!! our heart racers all the way through it in other words its brilliant 10/10..It's made by a genius, just sayin'..the thrill, excitement and action are all here..just like "eagle eye" (my fav movie ever!), i think..hehe and i hope every young girls out there watch out when you travel....a lot of this can happen

Seventeen year-old Kim is the pride and joy of her father Bryan Mills. Bryan is a retired agent who left the Secret Service to be near Kim in California. Kim lives with her mother Lenore and her wealthy stepfather Stuart. Kim manages to convince her reluctant father to allow her to travel to Paris with her friend Amanda. When the girls arrive in Paris they share a cab with a stranger named Peter, and Amanda lets it slip that they are alone in Paris. Using this information an Albanese gang of human traffickers kidnaps the girls. Kim barely has time to call her father and give him information. Her father gets to speak briefly to one of the kidnappers and he promises to kill the kidnappers if they do not let his daughter go free. The kidnapper wishes him "good luck," so Bryan Mills travels to Paris to search for his daughter and her friend.

 evry 1 dies exept him on the last 20 mins he shot the 4 persons he loves (his child to) but he just got 4 bullits left so he stays and 20 secs later the army came and saved the day..

seriously, that film is great, but the ending is one of the most depressing and disappointing I have ever seen. fair enough if it didn't involve the man's family, but I think why it depresses me is because no matter what, suicide would never be considered as an option for me and especially not for those who I love. to me, its is not only sad, but unrealistic to how I view the situation.

original ending is like THE THING of the movie... it's what makes the movie such a perfect horror movie- you can see it coming and you don't want it to happen, but it's so tragic when it does. It messes with your brain because it's the most shocking thing in the movie, even if you knew what was going to happen anyway.

fer me the ending is totaly FAIL...

Why Did I Get Married?

 This one brings to light all the anger and resentment that can ruin a marriage. Four couples go to a cabin in the Colorado mountains for their annual seven day vacation all pretending to be the happiest couple ever. But that's all it is...pretending. 

One couple is genuinely happy. They have their minor tiffs like any other marriage, but for the most part, they are the only ones who aren't pretending.

The second couple is burying the pain of losing their child in a car accident. The mother didn't properly strap him into his car seat and not only blames herself, but also projects that shame onto her husband. Meanwhile, her husband just wants her to forgive herself and have another baby. They end up working through it and coming together even stronger. 

In the third couple is a very submissive man dealing with an over bearing drunk of a wife. He tells the other three men that he cheated on her and is worried that she will find out because he got an STD that hasn't cleared up yet. It is later revealed that she already knew he had cheated and that she had actually given him the STD on purpose by cheating on him with someone. (Ain't love grand...) They go through a lot of counseling and she agrees to give up drinking. They come together, but even at the end it's unclear whether they will actually make it or not.

Lastly is the most tragic marriage is the main character and her husband. Not only has he been cheating on her with her best friend, he convinces his wife to bring her on their "couples" vacation. He doesn't hide his infidelity from his friends and in fact boasts about it. At the explosive dinner where everyones dirty laundry comes out, she finally learns the truth of his deceptions. After she hits him upside the head with a bottle, the week ends prematurely. Everyone going back to their homes and lives with everything they were hiding in plain site.

Everyone except the main character. She decides to stay behind and find her own way. Her ex husband cuts off her access to their money and she finds a job. As she was a bigger woman, she finds exercising very therapeutic as well as making herself fit and raising her self esteem. This movie is a perfect vignette of what problems can be worked through and what you should never put up with.
