Hi..tahira here, i just nak check ...if fyna is aware what is sakae...sakae is japanese alcohol selalunya u can find it on the last page of their menus..which is served in all japanese restaurant some even displays in their restaurants.
I see banyak muslims visit edo ichi use to be one of them sehingga i realize isu sakae ini. I was told by freinds who has freinds working in edo ichi about the soy served with sushi untuk kita cicah..also mengandungi sushi. Edo ichi is not informing customers walaupun they know muslims cannot consume alcohol.....i came across your blog on edo ichi..just nak ingorm you guys ...kita selalu nampak "no pork"..."pork free" sign then terus masuk...edo ichi tak ada halal cert...so next time also need to check if its ok for muslims yo masuk restaurant that also serves alcohol...even sebagai just minuman...
It is true what this Sakae is a japanese alcohol and it is not allowed for muslims, but they want business and they don't even bother to tell. Yes, definitely... they don't have any HALAL certificates at all. And this restaurant manager Mr. Chan only sees those who can afford to pay for more and he don't serve anyone who only dine in and pay for less than RM150.00. His service & attitude is really bad. Becareful when we dine in such a restaurant, we must deserve a smiling face from everyone including the restaurant manager.
